About the Role
NVIDIA is looking for a highly skilled Senior Generalist Software Engineer with a deep knowledge of computer graphics, algorithms, and compute systems. This position is ideal for candidates passionate about technological innovation and software development, especially in cutting-edge projects related to graphics and high-performance computing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and enhance software for compute systems and graphics applications.
- Create and optimize algorithms and data structures to address complex technical challenges.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.
- Conduct performance analysis to uphold high-performance standards.
- Stay updated on advances in graphics, algorithms, and compute systems, applying knowledge to new projects.
- Mentor junior engineers, contributing to a culture of learning and growth.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in software engineering with a focus on computer graphics and algorithms.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in graphics rendering techniques, shading languages, and APIs (OpenGL, DirectX, Vulkan).
- Proficiency in algorithms, data structures, and compute systems, including parallel and GPU computing (CUDA, OpenCL).

Preferred Skills
- Background in machine learning frameworks, especially within computer graphics and compute systems.
- Familiarity with real-time rendering engines (Unreal Engine, Unity) and virtual production.
- Knowledge of distributed computing and cloud-based architectures.
- Experience with embedded systems and hardware acceleration.
- Contributions to open-source projects or research publications.
